Your game stays on your device

Tonight is a free browser game for adults. It does not require an account or collect your name, email address or payment details.

Game data

Your language, category, intensity, hidden cards, history and current card are saved in this browser's localStorage. They are not uploaded to a game server or synchronised between devices. Someone with access to the same browser may be able to see the saved state.

To remove it, open Settings in Tonight and choose Clear local data, then confirm. This removes Tonight's saved game preferences and progress. It does not delete hosting logs or aggregate analytics. Your browser's site-data controls can also remove downloaded app files used for offline play.

Site analytics

The public site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits, page views, referrers and loading performance. It uses a browser script that sends usage and performance measurements to Cloudflare. According to Cloudflare, Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage for analytics and does not fingerprint individuals.

We do not send the cards you draw, your selected category or intensity, hidden cards or play history as analytics events. Those choices are not included in page URLs. Page-view analytics measures visits to the site, not the details of your game. Browser blockers, offline use and regional settings may limit measurements.

Hosting and sharing

Cloudflare serves the site and processes ordinary web requests, which include technical information such as IP addresses and request headers. Keeping game progress on your device does not mean that visiting a website sends no network data.

The Share option sends only a generic app link and description, when you choose to share. It does not include your current card or history. There are no advertisements or advertising trackers built into Tonight.
